The Dragon Dance, Gong-fu Fan Dance, Thousand-hand Kwan-yin Dance and the Chinese Drums particularly impressed our audience with their beauty, strength and the excellent coordination between performers. It was quite incredible how hard everyone worked and their performances amazed the audience.
Wednesday, 7th February was our Chinese cultural activities day. This year we were grateful and excited to welcome around 30 enthusiastic native Chinese parents, who joined us in running the activities. This made the day even more special – a big thank you to all of them!
What an eventful week it has been! We greatly enjoyed our activities, while gaining a better understanding of how and why the Chinese New Year is celebrated.
We extend our thanks to everyone who took part in any of our Chinese New Year activities and wish a Happy Year of the Dog to everyone in the Britannica community!
