The final week of the year continued to be eventful. The PE Department staged their final competition of the year. Well done to the Green Dragons for winning the Secondary Swimming Gala. The end of year reports have been sent home with the students. I always read each report and I have been impressed with the amount of progress our students have made this year. The most satisfying aspect of teaching is watching our student's growth and development and it has been a joy to witness it this year at Britannica. On Thursday we held an end of year Awards Assembly to celebrate individual achievement in each of the subjects. Congratulations to those students who were recognised by their teachers for the hard work and resilience they have shown throughout the year.
My first year at Britannica has been fast paced. We are lucky to have so many talented students in the Secondary School and it has been a pleasure getting to know them individually. The teachers have worked tirelessly all year and it has been an honour to work alongside such a dedicated, professional team, they truly deserve their summer break. To those who are leaving us I say good luck and I wish you every success with your future goals. For those who are returning, enjoy the break, take the time to relax and I look forward to seeing you in August.
