Over the last two days it has been an absolute pleasure to attend the dress rehearsals for the Chinese New Year Performances; Reception and Key Stage One, and Key Stage Two and Secondary. I have been very impressed by the range of performances with singing, poetry recitals, dance, kung-fu, acting and of course the dragon and lion dancing. Even more impressive is the enthusiasm shown by our students. It is wonderful to see how proud they are to be celebrating this important time in the Chinese calendar and demonstrating such great confidence and stage presence. I am confident that you will also enjoy these performances when we share the videos and photographs following performances next week.
In addition, not only are our Primary students fantastic performers they have also demonstrated superb artistic skills in our recent competitions for the hongbao and calendar designs. There were so many entries at such a high standard that Ms Fu and Miss Inna had a very difficult time deciding the winners! The winning students received their certificates in assemblies this week and we now look forward to getting these designs printed and shared across our whole school community and beyond.
