It has been such an incredibly busy and exciting first full week back at school. Today was particularly enjoyable as we all decorated our hair and hats in weird and wonderful ways demonstrating some fantastic creativity and imagination! Over the next few weeks in our Key Stage One and Key Stage Two assemblies we will be exploring our five new school values: Excellence, Respect, Responsibility, Integrity and Compassion. This week we explored Excellence and spoke about what we want to be outstanding at and how this will mean we need to be prepared to put in a lot of effort and not give up. It was really pleasing to hear the children share some examples of when they have already shown resilience and their ambitions for this year. I am so very proud of how all the children have returned to school with such enthusiasm and dedication to their learning and am looking forward to seeing what we can achieve this year!
