This week students from Years 8 and 9 presented their work on two projects that aim to foster sustainability, critical thinking, and collaboration among students.
Project 1 involves Year 8 students planning and designing a future school that incorporates renewable energy sources, organic food production, and adaptable learning environments.
Project 2 involves Year 9 students focusing on constructing sustainable cities using 3D modelling software, where they research and design eco-friendly buildings, transportation systems, and green spaces. Both projects promote teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills while providing students with hands-on experience in sustainable practices.
Both projects emphasize the importance of sustainability and incorporate 3D design elements. Project 1 focuses on designing an eco-friendly school, while Project 2 involves constructing a sustainable city. Both projects promote research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. They encourage teamwork and collaboration among students. Additionally, both projects provide opportunities for students to showcase their creativity and present their designs. The projects aim to enhance students' understanding of sustainable practices and their application in real-world contexts.
