We are thrilled to have all our students back for the Spring Term in our Primary school. This term, we have prepared a range of exciting learning opportunities that will engage and inspire our students.
In Year 1, our students have already delved into the captivating world of geography, exploring the contrasting landscapes of the countryside and towns and cities. Through hands-on activities and the creation of dioramas, they are actively engaged in bringing their understanding to life. This immersive approach fosters a deep connection with the subject matter and ignites their curiosity about the world around them.
Year 2 students are embarking on a literary adventure with the beautifully written and illustrated English text, "The Tin Forest" by Helen Ward and Wayne Anderson. By unraveling the mysteries hidden within the story, they will develop critical thinking skills, enhance their language abilities, and immerse themselves in the power of storytelling.
In Year 3, our students will embark on a captivating exploration of Europe, discovering its diverse geography, rich history, and vibrant cultures. Through interactive experiences and classroom transformations, they will gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty and diversity of this fascinating continent.
Year 4 students will delve into the vital topic of sustainability, exploring renewable energy and ways to create a more sustainable future for our school and planet. Through hands-on projects and discussions, they will develop an understanding of environmental responsibility and become agents of positive change.
Meanwhile, our Year 5 students will embark on an awe-inspiring journey through the cosmos as they explore the wonders of the solar system. Through scientific investigations and engaging activities, they will deepen their knowledge of space, planets, and celestial phenomena.
