The Britannica A-level results were returned at the end of this summer and our Year 12 Mathematics Students achieved excellent results across the board, achieving 4As, 4Bs and a C between them. It is impossible to achieve an A* at AS Level (taken in Year 12), as this grade is reserved for the full A-level which is completed in Year 13. It should be noted however, that all of the students who achieved an A, scored high enough for this to have been A*s if it had been the full A-Level.
For the Further Mathematics course, our students achieved an A, a B and a C between them. This is very impressive, since Further Mathematics is widely regarded as one of the most difficult A-Levels.
Congratulations to all our students who sat these exams. A special congratulations should go to Steven Lyu, who completed his full Mathematics A-Level in just one year and managed to achieve an A* grade.
We now continue into the full A-Level with the remaining 3 modules.
