It was wonderful to see the creative outfits the children made for yesterday's Trashion Show. We thank all the parents for their hard work in supporting and encouraging their children's artistic talents, and we hope you enjoyed the experience of seeing your child's design come to life on the runway.

In class this week, Pre-Nursery have enjoyed the book, ‘Hooray for Fish!’ As they followed the little fish's journey, the children have been exploring emotions and feelings. They observed a variety of real fish, studying their colours and patterns, and have designed their own unique, colourful fish.

Nursery's 'The Great Outdoors' learning journey has taken them under the sea this week. The children have been discovering the different creatures that reside in our oceans. They read the story, 'There's a Hole at the Bottom of the Sea,' which explains the intricate food chain cycle, starting with the shark and ending with the sun. They thoroughly enjoyed learning about the relationships between marine creatures.

Reception has begun an exciting exploration of the story, 'The Gruffalo,' by Julia Donaldson. The children have been immersed in the adventures of the clever mouse and the mysterious Gruffalo and used expression to perform parts of the story before writing in character. They also enjoyed sharing their learning yesterday during their live swimming lesson.
