Today, Britannica hosted its first ever Entrepreneurial Day. It was an exciting day which raised money for the house charities and proved a real success with all those who took part.
Students took on the role of small business and were tasked with coming up with an original product to sell. This involved students researching products, their market, sourcing opportunities and pricing as well as advertising and managing sales on the day.
Students from other year groups in Secondary were also invited to join and we are pleased that a few Year 7 students took up the challenge. All of the students’ hard work was in order to drive up profits, ultimately raising more money for those less fortunate who we support.
There was lots of offer for all the students and parents who joined in as the various businesses included; a scientific experience not to be missed, a very wet and noisy water balloon challenge, creative cup decorating as well as sweet treats in all shapes and sizes.
The students took full responsibility for the whole day from setting up their stalls, speaking with customers and tidying up at the end of the day. All of the students should be very proud of themselves for all that they have achieved.
