Pre-Nursery children, families, teachers and carers celebrated the end of their academic year with a spectacular Island Paradise Party. The event was full of colour featuring tropical plants, fruits, a pirate ship and pirate treasure hunt.
Children enjoyed a splash in the paddling pool, wore leis and danced freely to island drums and music. Parents had an opportunity to take keepsake photographs in the tropical island grass hut and enjoy instrumental play with children beating out rhythms on bongos, maracas and tambourines.
Children were excited and savoured the tropical fruit salad refreshments and brightly coloured tropical jelly cup treats. The sights, sounds, culture and joy of tropical is-land life and holidays were in the air.
It was a magnificent way to conclude a year of amazing learning experiences and the developmental progress of our youngest Britannica pupils and to celebrate these achievements with families.
