Over the past two weeks I have spent a lot of time talking to Secondary students and teachers online. However, I was delighted to finally arrive in school this week and meet everyone in person.
I was instantly impressed by the maturity and organisation of our Secondary students. There was a distinct atmosphere of in class engagement and signs of genuine desire for learning.
I have now managed to visit all classrooms and introduce myself to all students. I particularly enjoyed our Key Stage three assembly this afternoon where it was clear that the Secondary students enjoy being here at Britannica. I look forward to working with each child more closely in the coming months.
