Leavers Dinner Celebration
As it is the end of the school academic year and for some senior students the end of their secondary school career we will be holding a celebratory event to mark this occasion.
Many of our students are leaving the sixth form and are moving on to their home countries or to study higher education at some of the most respected and top ranked Universities both in the UK and worldwide.
To celebrate these successes and highlight all the hard work and determination which has led to this point, Britannica International School, Shanghai will hold its inaugural leavers dinner for these students.
Senior students from years 11, 12 and 13 are invited to attend this event where both students and teachers will enjoy a formal meal, presentation, and then a series of short speeches for our leavers.
We would like all students in these year groups to attend if possible.
The event will be held at the W Hotel on the Bund on Wednesday 1st July from 18:30 -21:00.
Science Fair Voting
Voting for the Science Fair will close at midnight on Sunday 28th June. With over 1500 votes so far the competition to be crowned science fair champion is heating up.

BYOD – Bring Your Own Device
Many parents have requested an open forum to discuss this further. I am pleased to do this and propose the following dates and times:
Tuesday 30th June 16:30 – 17:15
Thursday 2nd July 16:30 – 17:15
Both sessions will be of identical content and agenda but I have offered both to allow for a greater degree of flexibility to ensure all who are interested have an opportunity to attend.
Both meetings will be held in the school boardroom on the second floor. Please note that the minutes of the meeting will be shared in pdf format on the school website after these dates.
The meetings will also be broadcast live via zoom. If parents would like to join via zoom, please do let me know.
Parents will not be allowed onto the school site until 16:15 after all children have left the premises.
Only those parents who; reply to be added to the attendance list, have a green QR code and pass the temperature check at the front gate will be allowed to enter.
