Wonderful news from Britannica’ Spanish department. After weeks of intense hard work, all the students from Year 3 to 6 have participated in a big contest to show their Spanish talent. The final round of this second edition of Spelling Bee, took place last Friday 24th of November and after the very tight and great results among the 10 finalists chosen to take part in it at the Theatre, just one proved to be the top of the notch.
The names of the 2nd edition of this ‘Spelling Bee in Spanish’ finalists:
3A Stella
3B Yi Bon
3C Kosuke
4A Evan
4B Sophia
4C Ellie
5A Cecilia
5B Saanvi
6A Bego
6B Joseph
As they were all magnificent, we got the winner after many rounds trying to find some apparently non-existent weakness.
They all made very honorable competitors and set the stakes incredibly high for the last best three participants:
3rd place Saanvi
2nd place Ellie
And the 1st place and winner of this second round of the Spelling Bee contest in Spanish is: Joseph
The absolute winner, the invincible Spelling Bee figure! If he wins the third edition we are thinking about changing the competition name after him! Something in the lines of Learn Spanish Spelling with Joseph, or Joseph Bee!
Congratulations to all of them, they made it really far and they all deserve the recognition.
Next round will take place next winter term, we cannot rest on our laurels!
The best is yet to come!
