This week kicked off with excitement as we held our annual Science Quiz assembly with a fun twist! Students had the opportunity to test their knowledge against some of their favourite teachers, sparking friendly competition and deep engagement. The event was a huge success, highlighting the strong enthusiasm our students have for science.

Year 10 students have made a fantastic start to their IGCSE journey, diving into their studies with passion and focus. In Chemistry, they have dedicated many hours to creating their own PowerPoint presentations, explaining how catalytic converters work and their importance in protecting the environment.

Our Year 11 Chemistry students have been exploring the fascinating world of Acids & Bases, while A-Level Chemistry students are tackling advanced topics in Chemical Energetics, Lattice Energy, and constructing Born-Haber Cycles.

In A-Level Biology, students have been learning about the intricate role of chloroplasts in light absorption and photosynthesis. Their understanding of these essential biological processes is deepening, and it’s wonderful to see their curiosity grow as they explore the wonders of life at a molecular level.

We look forward to witnessing the continued growth and enthusiasm of our students as they explore the captivating world of Science.
