BA (Hons) Primary Education and English specialist with QTS
Adam was born and raised in the south-west of England in Devon. He studied at the University of Winchester, where he earned a B.A (hons) in Primary Education, specialising in English. This included earning his Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) After graduating, Adam taught in Andover, Hampshire for many years in a range of settings across Key Stage 2 before deciding to teach internationally and eventually bringing him to Shanghai.
Adam is a very passionate teacher who has been teaching for almost 20 years, with a vast experience both in the UK and Internationally. This is now his 11th year at Britannica, and he continues to enjoy being a part of the family community here, relishing every day and every moment.
At Britannica, Adam has taken on various roles and responsibilities, including Internationalism Coordinator and English Coordinator, as well as leading in Year 3, Year 5 and 6. Adam loves being in the classroom, working alongside children and maximising progress and learning opportunities. He enjoys working alongside his colleagues and parents, whilst making forever memories along the way.
