BA (Hons), PGCE, QTS

Craig was born and raised in the North West of England. He studied English and Imaginative Writing at Liverpool John Moores University. After graduating and working in America for a short while, he later attended The Institute of Education within the University of London to obtain his PGCE in English.

After working for two years in London and obtaining his QTS, he then made the move to Guangzhou, China where he spent a year teaching English at a boarding school before moving to Shanghai. After working at a bilingual school for several years, Craig was then hired at Britannica International School, where he has been teaching for the past 3 and a half years. In total, Craig has over 10 years of teaching experience.

At Britannica, Craig started out teaching English to the secondary students before transitioning into his current position as Head of Department.

Throughout his career, Craig has always tried to inspire, challenge and broaden his student’s understanding of his subject and leave them with a deeper appreciation of English.
