Gareth was born and raised in Ireland. Gareth pursued his higher education at the University of Maynooth, where he earned a BA (Honours) in Irish and Geography. After graduating, he trained formally as an EAL (English as an Additional Language) teacher, which ultimately led him to Shanghai, China
Gareth trained formally as an EAL (English as an Additional Language) teacher, which opened the door to exciting international opportunities. This journey led him to Shanghai, China, where he has been teaching at Britannica International School for the past three years.
