Originally from Andalucía, Spain, Irene has always had a love for language and literature. She studied English Literature and Language at Cadiz University in Spain, before going on to complete a master’s degree in education and a PGCE at Newcastle University in the UK.

With over 10 years of teaching experience in both Spain and England, Irene has developed a strong understanding of how multiculturalism shapes education. Having worked in classrooms across different cultures, she is passionate about creating an inclusive and engaging space where all students can thrive.

At Britannica, Irene enjoys helping students explore the richness of the Spanish language and culture and she believes education is a powerful way to connect people from different backgrounds and build a sense of global community.
