Originally from Sheffield, UK, Nick brings over a decade of international music teaching experience to his role. He believes that music should be more than just a subject to study—it should be an active, enriching part of life. Nick is passionate about practical music-making, and he loves that Britannica fosters this approach. His greatest joy comes from watching students develop a love for an instrument, knowing it's something they’ll carry with them for life.

Nick is currently pursuing an MA in Transcultural and Traditional Studies at the University of Sheffield, further deepening his knowledge of global music traditions. Outside of teaching, he enjoys composing original music and is active in the Shanghai scene, performing Scottish ceilidh music and playing in a funk band.
