Valecia Crew-Hall, originally from Jamaica, is an accomplished educator with a robust academic foundation. She holds a Diploma in Teaching Language, Literature, and Literacy from The Mico University College, as well as a Bachelor of Education in English from the University of the West Indies. After nearly a decade of teaching in Jamaica, she relocated to England, where she attained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and further refined her pedagogical practice.
Valecia possesses extensive experience in instructing students from diverse cultural backgrounds and with a wide range of abilities, enabling her to create inclusive learning environments. Her insights into supporting students with varied educational needs, acquired through practical experience, ensure that all learners are afforded the opportunity to excel. In her previous role as Most Able Coordinator, she focused on challenging students and unlocking their untapped potential, guiding them to explore new skills and knowledge.
Currently, Valecia teaches at Britannica International School in Shanghai, where she delivers language and literature instruction across Key Stages 3-5. Her unwavering commitment to student development and academic success continues to shape her teaching philosophy, as she is dedicated to nurturing the talents and abilities of each student in her care.
