In this week’s assembly, the much-anticipated results of the newly established student leadership team were released.
With an ever-increasing number of students in the Secondary phase, the contest to be chosen as a Britannica’s first Head Boy, Head Girl, Student Ambassadors and Prefect team was formidable.
Student leaders play full and varied roles within Britannica. As well as leading the Secondary students they are important role models for our younger students and will prove to be excellent ambassadors for the school.
The leadership team form a vital part of life in the Secondary phase and of the whole school, consistently working alongside teaching staff to enrich the academic and pastoral support offered to all students at Britannica.
I would like to congratulate the following students:
Head Boy – Wei Lin
Head Girl – Annie
Senior Prefect - Kanye
Senior Prefect – Pietro
Junior Prefect – Kevin
Junior Prefect – Fletcher
Student Ambassador – Leonardo
Student Ambassador – Amiel
Student Ambassador – Ricardo
Elsewhere in Secondary; our KS3 students have been experimenting with green screens and lighting in our new media studio, debating ASA has started with eagerness and students have been investigating relief printmaking in Art.
This week also sees our first cohort of students attending work experience placements at organisations around the Shanghai area.
