Swimming is an important aspect of student life at Britannica, both from a competitive and a physical development perspective. We have a 25m indoor pool with six lanes and the pool is served by a qualified lifeguard at all times.
At Britannica, we offer swimming in our PE lessons and also as an After-School Activity option for students from Nursery to Year 13. All students are welcome to join our school team and compete in school swimming galas.
Our swimming coaches are highly experienced and well qualified and are dedicated to individual progress, whatever the swimmers’ aspirations.
The swimming pool has been refurbished over the summer holiday and our Physical Education teachers are busy planning the swimming provision.
The School will rigorously follow all safety protocols and guidance from local authorities to ensure Britannica remains a safe environment for all its students and staff.
