Academic Scholarships up to 50% of Tuition Fees
Britannica International School, Shanghai is looking to support through the award of scholarships, exceptionally able and motivated students who are academically gifted, dedicated to their studies and will seek to take full advantage of opportunities to extend their learning beyond the core curriculum.
Scholarship students are expected to be proactive learners and contributors, ensuring their studies and activities have a whole-school profile and support associated clubs, societies and events.
The secondary scholarships are an investment by Britannica International in nurturing and promoting the talent of such students who will encourage others and benefit the whole community through their high standard, application and commitment.
Scholarships at Britannica International School, Shanghai not only recognise ability and potential but aim to nurture and accelerate talent. They are made available to secondary students with outstanding ability and potential, which the school assesses by current school reports, formal assessments and interview.
Available Scholarships for the Academic Year 2021-2022
- Principal's Scholarship
Only one student will be awarded this scholarship each year. Applicants must possess outstanding academic ability and be willing to contribute to the school community and broader values of a truly British education.
- Excellence in Linguistics
This scholarship recognises outstanding ability and contributions in the field of Languages
- Excellence in the Arts
This scholarship recognises outstanding ability and contributions in the fields of Art, Music, Media or Drama
- Excellence in the Sciences
This scholarship recognises outstanding ability and contributions in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Biology or Chemistry
- Leadership Award
This scholarship is designed to nurture and enhance leadership skills for students who aspire to take a leading role in their education, the education of their peers, and the success of the school.
