Exciting news from Britannica’s art department. From Years 6 to Year 9, twenty students have been selected as the internal winners of the Chinese traditional culture competition with the theme of “Beautiful China, a beautiful life". Big congratulations to those students who were selected as the internal winners, and we wish them the best of luck in the next round of the competition. Furthermore, everyone who entered the competition should feel proud that they completed the task to the best of their abilities.
Over the past two weeks in the art classroom, the students have been working on pencil drawings. They have been introduced to simple hatching techniques and further developed their skills with different drawing activities. Students understood the six forms of hatching and they found it particularly interesting and useful for drawing. They applied the techniques they learned in their pencil drawings.
