Britannica Shanghai is proud to share news of outstanding IGCSE examination results. Our students have worked extremely hard throughout the whole academic year. The external examination results reflect the commitment, dedication and hard work of both the students and the academic staff.
This year, Britannica continues to achieve fantastic results in IGCSE.
With 81% of our students achieved A* to C grades in all of their subjects, and 100% A* to B in English Language.For a full picture of results, please refer to the graphs below.
Our consistently excellent IGCSE, and A Level results represent a compelling testimony to the achievements of our students. In Britannica Shanghai, all students are given personal attention, challenged and supported to continue their successes. As an example, we prepare our Year 10 students to sit IGCSE examinations, one year earlier than expected. Our Year 10 students achieved 100% pass rate in IGCSE English and 100% A* in Italian and Spanish.

They have overcome a challenging couple of years with the pandemic and class disruptions. Their outstanding examination results are well deserved and have prepared them excellently for A Level studies. A special mention must also go to the talented teaching staff who worked tirelessly to personalise lessons and ensure students were fully prepared.
100% of our IGCSE cohort are remaining at Britannica and progressing to A Level study. As they now enter our Sixth Form as Year 12 students, they join our Year 13 cohort who have recently achieved incredible examination results.
These students will now form our largest Sixth Form cohort to date and have enabled themselves to begin planning and preparing to follow their dreams of studying in the best universities around the world.
