What an incredible English Week we’ve had! From creative costumes to extreme reading adventures, our students have fully embraced the joy of stories and literature. Here’s a recap of the highlights and a big thank you for your support in making it all possible.

The creativity on display during our Book Character Dress-Up Day was amazing! We saw everything from Willy Wonka to Harry Potter, and even a few surprise appearances (who knew we had so many superhero readers?) The students loved sharing their favourite characters, and the excitement was contagious. A special thank you to those who helped put together such fantastic costumes, your effort made the day unforgettable.

Our Book Swap was a huge hit as students eagerly traded their pre-loved books for new adventures to dive into. It was wonderful to see them discussing stories, recommending favourites, and leaving with fresh reading material. A big thank you to everyone who donated books and to the Britannica librarians for helping to supervise the process; we hope everyone enjoys their new books! The entries for our Extreme Reading Photo Competition were absolutely fantastic! From reading whilst feeding an elephant to reading whilst skateboarding, our students proved that reading can happen anywhere.

None of this would have been possible without your encouragement at home. Happy reading, and here’s to many more literary adventures!
